Drunken Musings
Okay, so after hangover, after drunken sleeping musings.
I have a bad back, most people know this. Yesterday it was really bad. Got home from driving with my dad around 5:30pm (more on that later) and took 2 Robax Platinum (muscle relaxants/ibupofen) and that worked for a few hours. The fact I hadn't eaten all day seemed to accelerate and intensify the experience.
So, prompted by the man I made some miso for myself (Of which he ate more than half, but at least I had something eaten by then!) Of course with the attention span of the goldfish for a couple of hours, it wasn't entirely too bad.
Moved on into a decent evening. Did a bit of tidying, played with the boy. Decided to work on his words and started doing 'Head and Shoulders' (knees and toes), and had my back go 'Aha! Want to play like that do ya?'
So I decided to sit down. Chatted with my brother on MSN, eventually put my son to bed. (Let's see, have to carry him to his bed with him fighting, or waiting til he is ready to follow me to his room, climb into his bed by himself and tuck him in... option 2 please!) So about 30 minutes pass and my back is still complaining, I know I will not be able to sleep, I contemplate the lovely Robax once again, but decide against it as it is addictive, so I limit my use of it. Hmm..okay..I have some caesars in the fridge. I'll have one of those.
So..drinking the caesar and playing Lineage with the man, doing good. He hands me the second bottle. Alright..no problem. Two isn't a bad thing...
...Unless you haven't eaten anything since the miso and drink the two in under an hour.
The good news: I can't hear my back complaining anymore
The bad news: I start rambling about this that and the other to just about anyone on my MSN list that would listen
So..go to bed drunk (bad move), wake up middle of the night still drunk to a kid crawling in beside, wake up later hungover. Although the hangover is not so much different from my caffiene withdrawl, so I am used to the process.
Get up, lay head on counter in bathroom, mangle an advil gelcap out of the bottle, take that down with a bit of water, lie down on the couch in front of the AC with a pillow over my head. Be a nice table for the boy that chooses to place lots of things on mommy. (The trick is to remember enough that you don't roll over unnecessarily when you get up. Only had a softcover book at my back this time). 1 hour semi-nap and I am good to go..stomach is still thinking it wants a rest..so we will let it.
I'm sure it was an interesting evening for most.
...
Oh..the driving! I am a 30 yr old woman, just learning to drive a car. My dad, when he has time, takes me out to practice.
I tried the parallel park, and did the Tim Horton's drive thru (this is a vital piece of driving experience and must be perfected). Just need to work on my speed still (going 50 in a 60 zone, not bad, but could be better), which is mostly just getting used to the car. Learning on a Taurus SE for anyone who is curious.

Dude. You, me and Vanleria. We'll put some mellow Coldplay in and go drive around. If you can drive and park a van, you can drive and park anything smaller than a van.
Just don't drink any caesars before we go, ya big lush.
Done deal!
